淡馬魯縣泳兒在今次的全彭學聯游泳錦標賽勇奪61金41銀34銅，并刷新了44項新紀錄成功衛冕，笑傲泳壇，并成功奪下近9年第8個總冠軍 今次這項全彭學聯遊泳錦標賽在文德甲旗山俱樂部游泳池舉行，今次的共有來自州內3縣派隊參與盛會，即淡馬學聯隊、關丹學聯隊及文冬學聯隊、賽會共分8組進行；即小學男子及女子組、初中男子及女子組、高中男子及女子組、公開男子及女子組。 來自關丹學聯隊今次獲得17金37銀44銅，位居亞軍。 值得一提的是，在小學男子組中，淡馬隊的劉偉豐一枝獨秀，橫掃10金和刷新3項紀錄，是本屆賽會奪金最多的泳手，表現表青！ 而在小學女子組中，表傑出的有淡馬隊許嘉翊5金和刷新2項紀錄；淡馬隊鐘慧婷奪得3金和刷新2項記錄、關丹隊的陳慧玲則奪得2金和刷新2項記錄。 在初中男子組中，去年在全國學聯賽奪得冠軍的選手許劭翊今次再奪下獲6面金牌，并且也刷新了6項紀錄，成為本屆賽會破最多紀錄的健兒。隊友葉家俊今次也在仰泳中奪2面金牌和刷新2項紀錄；而關丹的馮宇恆與黃驥聯亦表現可圈可點，分別獲得4金和刷新3項紀錄。 在初中女子組中，淡馬魯隊陳佩琪包攬8面金牌和刷新了5項紀錄，表現優異；而另一位隊友葉詩倩奪5金和刷新3紀錄，來自關丹的全國蛙泳冠軍梅文婷則包辦蛙泳3面金牌和刷新了2紀錄。 高中男子組中，淡馬魯隊葉家恆勇摘8金和刷新3紀錄，而來自關丹隊李國輝獲4金和刷新1紀錄。 在高中女子組中，淡馬隊大器晚成的葉詩慧，在經過年多年默默耕耘，今次奪下7金和刷新4紀錄，表現令人激賞，隊友蛙泳女名將王素涵則奪6金和刷新4紀錄。 教練韓軍指出，對於淡馬魯健兒今次的成績感到欣慰，感謝家長和隊員的努力付出，希望再接再厲，在今年3月份的全國學聯賽，能再次奪得更好的成績。

Congratulations to SHAUN LAU who broke my L12 50m butterfly record which i set 6 years ago!
To be honest, I didn't expect that my record would stay for that long (6 years). I'm happy to see a young talent broke it with a much better result. He's a young talent we want! Keep it up PRADT!
Besides, due to my opinion, the selection of the swimmers for MSSM Championship should have a stated standard. It means that the timing of a swimmer in the MSSP Championship must achieve the qualifying time in order to represent the state for higher level competition. The strength of a swimming team is not depend on the number of swimmers but depends on the quality of the swimmers. For an example, a swimmer is ineligible to go for any international level competition unless he/she achieve the qualifying time no matter how good he/she did in trainings. I personally think that the standard for Pahang swimmers to qualify for the MSSM Championship now is too low and it gives not much advantages to us. Without a high target, swimmers will have no spirit to train harder to become better. Indirectly, this will lower the swimmers spirit to improve themselves as they already know that they will also get chosen to the MSSM Championship no matter how is their result.
